We all know how sexy food can be – but how boring are some recipe books?
Raunchy Recipes aims to put a halt to that and turn up the heat in the kitchen with a recipe book spilling over with sensual stories and poetry backed up with glorious recipes and drawings.
The final collection of stories, poems recipes and line drawings will be initially published through Ether Books and will be made available in other formats shortly afterwards.
Our intention is to collate appropriate stories and recipes as an ebook for the festive season at the end of 2012. There may be the possibility of it as a printed version in the following year.
Apart from the fame and glory of being involved, successful contributors ( authors and artists) will be sent a copy of the eBook version before the Launch. Should the edition be published in hard copy format the following year, contributors will be eligible to purchase the print anthology/recipe book at wholesale price.
Publication for the eBook is aimed for mid Dec 2012.
We welcome emerging authors and artists as keenly as seasoned creatives.

Erotic Stories
Size limit: 2000 words
We are looking for raunchy, sensual stories filled with erotic scenes; matched with equally delicious references to food; and a recipe to completely consume your desire.
Submissions will be open from 14th of February 2012 through till 1st of October 2012.
Submissions will be accepted in English only.
No gratuitous violence or content which may be deemed offensive, defamatory or demeaning. Stylistic or situationally appropriate profanity is acceptable.
Short Stories must have a title.
Submissions must begin with the short story, followed by the recipe (ingredients and method, along with serving suggestion/ amount it will serve)
Measurements within recipes are accepted in either imperial or metric.
Writers are asked to include a brief personal bio or link to their blog/ writing site.
Submissions must be authors own work and not to have been published elsewhere. (Personal blogs are the exception)
Recipes must be authors own work/ words/ explanation ( cannot be under copyright)
Any submission which has not followed the guidelines will not be considered.
Erotic Food
To complement our short stories, we are welcoming submissions of line drawings of food in all its lusciousness – but please – no body parts or human forms of any type.
Black and White line drawings only. (colour and computer generated graphics will not be accepted)
